Its been years since the west abandoned the idea yet many in Japan still seem to be going all in on this crap. The tech does have some practical niche uses, but digital collectibles you can later sell just isn't it. Shit on Tabata all you want, but even Square Enix itself is still going in on this. This is one lesson they're only gonna learn by continuing to burn money.
