I think you may just be missing that people collect things for different reasons and have different tastes. As a buyfag, you surely buy things that other people don't see the appeal of. But you don't buy them for them, you buy them for you. Same thing for gacha figures. People like them and their designs. Even if they have literally zero personality and are a floating png- if someone likes the figure of it, then have at it I say!
