>create a cheap copy of a popular game

>Tencent arrives and buys everything at their peak
>Tencent goes only after profit, turning the game from bad to worse, year after year
>automated bots for support tickets, EOMM to turn the players from competitive driven humans into anger addict zombies, making the ingame shop more and more expensive towards f2p and even worse for new players
>Tencent budget also allowed them to buy out competition, literally paying them to play LoL at their desks, way better than letting them work against them
but hey, the competitive scene was fun to watch, they didn't ruin that, right?

For the last few years the game is both anti-fun to play and anti-fun to watch. You either play meta, or the meta plays you and oneshots you with half an item, or the tank with 8 gap closers comes on you and oneshots you. And at this point everyone knows what Vanguard does and how it is somehow worse than a Trojan and a shitcoin miner combined.
