Things happen for no reason and suddenly you have half hp while your opponent has full oh wait he just engaged and killed you. And that will happen for a long time until you learn.

League has, at this point, 171 champs.
Let's be charitable and say you need to learn 4 abilities + 1 passive for each (although champs in the last 10 years or so have more).
To get into league now you'd have to learn just that and STILL be a complete bot. Then you have to learn jungle patterns, wave management, kiting etc etc.
You need a minimum of 200-300 hours of learning just to be somewhat capable of knowing what you're doing.
And then you have to deal with the fact that low levels is pretty much just smurfs getting easy wins and people restricted from ranked for being toxic.

You can try a blender tutorial and see. It scales with the amount of detail. There's a crazy amount of detail. Like this little jig Jinx is doing has so many moving parts. They use key frame animation not mocap, so some guy had to animate every little twitch of her body.

Yes, cel animation had the expense of having to draw every frame. But at the same time it's not as insane as drawing a million images, because 90% of it was sketching the background and so on. It is an interesting dynamic and the best portrayed one between Joker and Harley. But in depth and realism, it is just alright. The psychopathic indifference to other's suffering is a long term behavior. Unless Harley already was secretly psychopathic, her burnout/not having fun wouldn't make her psychopathic. Her behavior is driven by love for Joker, and they do make some good steps towards it (like Harley triggered when he's beaten up), but the writers did the best they could given the backstory behind Joker and Harley. She is by more proper standards not really insane, or insane but her insanity isn't rewritten well. League of legends lore at the start was good and fuctional.
