You know, this remind me of the Microsoft buying Activision....
For some reasons, a massive amount of people appeared out of nowhere to massively shill the acquisition of Acti, even though anyone with a single brain cell would understand how bad the repercussion would be for everyone involved (Microsoft, Acti, Sony, the game industry etc....), yet, they were there all day shilling, spamming and attacking everyone that opposed it.
As soon as the buyout was done, nobody ever talked this way about it, NOT A SINGLE TIME, all those pro Microsoft buying Acti literally disappeared out of nowhere.
And thus, those people, with their propaganda on reddit, 4chan, youtube, twitter etc... played a big part on the perception of the public, that in the end, though this acquisition wouldn't create trouble.
Now we have the "Stop Killing Games" initiative, and guess what, a huge amount of "people" come out of the woodwork to tell you that this initiative is bad, that you need to protect the big corporation that want to gangrape you by every holes and that it will kill all those great live services that you should absolutely not miss and spend all your money on it.
Like cmon, you know who is behind this massive campaign AGAINST this initiative, you know who is paying those bots, wake up fuckers!
