This idea of labeling certain behaviors as "straight" or "gay" coded only reinforces homophobia - it doesn't help any confused boys or men at all. Being a boy and having a loving, affectionate relationship with another boy does not make one a "straggot" or "in the closet," just as holding hands together or sharing a bed does not imply any sexual connotation.
