NTA but they shouldn't let Katoki design it. If you leave katoki to his devices he creates horrible toys. Limited range of articulation, fiddly as fuck, and generally not fun. The MG gunpla unicorns went through multiple revisions because of him and the MGEX, which had his input, was basically a response to the RG shitting all over the old MG. In the MGEX manual interview he specifically cites the RG as basically spurring him to redesign the MGEX with better articulation, more frame details, and so forth because it blew him away that a smaller model achieved what he couldn't with the original MG sculpt. So it's no surprise that it looks more like the RG. He clearly has an ego considering it took the RG shitting on his Ver Ka sculpt to finally change it for the MGEX. They probably also gave the toy engineers more control over the project so he couldn't place the leg fins in the path of the knee bend. I like Katoki's designs but he's not an engineer, he has a background in drafting and design and technical drawings, they're not the same thing.
