>It feels very badly written with not a huge amount of thought put into
yeah nah felinenegro, you don't get to pull the "badly written" card right after praising the franchise with a gypsy bloodline whose clan weakness is stealing shit and an italian bloodline whose only noteworthy traits are necromancy and being walking mafia stereotypes
>not a huge amount of thought put into what the ramifications of what a lot of things might be
sure, but neither do wide and expansive universes like dnd(forgotten realms)/pathfinder(golarion) or capeshit universes and I still like some of those games/movies
like how tf do those adventures have any danger when bringing people back to life is barely an inconvenience
moot point as they haven't bothered making any games besides cyoa and a free-to-play battle royale
>ramifications
of course there would be ramifications, and I'm sure those would have been explored and explained in depth and with excellent writing...
perhaps in a world where the IP was run by people with IQ above room temperature, you're talking about the universe that was killed off when it got popular to make room for a new world of darkness only for that to flop and the devs coming back to their old world of darkness just in time for the franchise to die again, then come back to life because of Paradox... only to promptly kill itself again by having writers so obnoxiously woke it caused an international incident with fucking Chechnya that paradox shitcanned the entire writing staff followed by a Bloodlines 2 demo presented to Paradox devs that was so bad the game was cancelled on the spot and would have died if it weren't for some second rate developer promising Paradox mediocre profits if they could have the game's corpse to make another Bloodlines 2 out of(it'll 100% flop, everyone knows this)
sorry for the impromptu rant but I did tell you it was chronically mismanaged
