The term for these "scythe-eating bugs from hell" was "地獄のカマ喰い虫" in Japanese. So, "Hell Scythe Eater Bugs" basically. Pretty much identical.

I looked at the writing for the "transformation mirror scythe" and it seems accurate enough, though there's a lot of Furigana and Google Lens wasn't playing nice so I am not going to copy and paste it. It is still called a scythe despite everything in Japanese as well.
