See how you can immediately restart a battle when you die? That feature is NOT available on Detective Legend, you're actually forced to the title screen and have to load a save from there.
As a side effect, it makes the Endure skills relevant on Raidou, though I still ignored them.

For Raidou? He's the only character who can change his passives whenever he wants and it take effect immediatly, just use whatever you like/is needed.
For demons?
The 4 DLC passives are broken (but not mandatory to clear the game on Detective Legend), they were taken straight from Raidou 2 and implemented as is and they were already broken in that game.
For non-DLC passives:
Magic Boost, this one is also from Raidou 2 but actually got a slight nerf, still a must have since an huge part of the game is about MAG management.
Skill Extension, also from Raidou 2, that one makes War Cry and Tetra/Makara Aura even better by making them last 10 more seconds.
The resistance/halve/boost skills, adapt depending on what you will fight, covering a weakness is not necessary if you know that element won't be used in that fight.
And last but not least, don't underestimate Scavenger and Loose Change, Sword fusion is expensive and you will use a lot of items on Detective Legend.
