The only ones who want her dead are zealous shippers of a certain camp or OG purists who shouldn't even be playing this game since it doesn't follow the OG to a t. There's enough material to back up Aerith surviving this time around, we'll see what happens in the final installment. If they actually do plan on leaving her dead then I'm confused as to why they butchered her iconic death scene.
