I don't think he needs to be in the role. The problem is you need someone with an odd ball power set or brings something to the table. Bats gets shilled to hard as being a genius that techice captain america isn't going to cut it. It is same problem Aquaman struggles with.


I think the best DC could do is find/create some minority magic user and push them to JL status. Its a major niche that is open on the team that nobody is really versed in. Sidesteps GL wars, public will accept any char, and nobody gives a fuck about /pol/ fanboys.
