You're retarded. It's almost like you have no fucking idea what a security dilemma is, or why countries with nuclear weapons continue to spend massive amounts of money on their military, or why the Soviet Union "collapsed".

You can of course read the RAND report if you want to understand why Ukraine in NATO is an existential threat. Or Brzezinski for that matter.

>What resources, aside from beer, do they have, pray tell?
None. That's the point.

>They don't really need them to defend their lands, they would only need major ports for offensive.
Please stfu if you don't know what you're talking about. Go watch some Mearsheimer and learn something.

>Thats a big cope. You have sacrificed your cash cow germany in the hope of breaking up russia.
Germany is irrelevant, retard. We only built Germany up to keep it dependent on the United States. Basically, we wanted to keep it in our sphere of influence.

The problem for us was that Germany was tilting towards Russia. Which is why we hacked Angela Merkel's phone, and which is why Nordstream has a bunch of holes in it. Germany is nothing without Russian resources. For that matter, Europe is nothing without foreign resources. If America sanctioned Europe like we do Russia, Europe would either become a third-world country, or be annexed by Russia. Europe cannot survive on its own(and without colonies).

>Your wallstreet's high investments in ukraine are proof enough that you had no intention of leaving ukraine again. Russia has defeated you.
The problem for the United States is that time isn't on our side. The current "world order" is unsustainable. The balance of power is shifting against us. China is becoming too powerful. The question then is, how do we defeat China?

We had two choices. Ally with Russia against China, or destroy the Russian Empire and expand NATO to China's border.

We chose the latter. The question then is, will we succeed? China has already said they will not let Russia "lose". So what do you think that means?

It's not about an outside threat. It's about creating a security dilemma for Russia, then provoking Russia into war.

If Russia isn't kept in a perpetual state of insecurity/war, it will become too powerful, because it too many resources.
