you sell to local markets until the price dips low enough that shipping it across the world becomes just as profitable
it's usually more efficient to scale a single operation upwards than it is to diversify. it's the same principle for why self-sufficient homesteading is a meme. instead of growing everything you need, you should just grow a shit ton of one thing, do it VERY well, then sell your excess to buy the other things you need.
