Everybody was selling gimmicky amusement park ride minigames when all they had to do was normalize VR being a display to use in any game, even if the controls are not specifically tuned for VR.

That's literally all it needs: plug and play functionality as a display. BUT NOOOoOo, gotta have my walled garden subscription model. FUCK.

In case I didn't make it obvious this is one of the few things I am legitimately irate about in modern gaming.
