iirc theyre working off the animation skeletons of the old models from Noct. to the MMO game so I think if they were to up the poly count and give them HD textures and just make them work with the already existing anims. I actually don't know what they're doing though.

Yeah in the OG version were touched up in the texture dept. to make them fit the time period, with Beez and Arahabaki being the most notable pic related
