July 2nd was when the xitter hashtag spam started, and just before that some big names were posting about it like Pewdiepie. I think that boost is completely natural.
Assuming not every country is able to be botted, if you look at the per country daily changes, you can see that it's pretty consistent across the board (except Italy stagnates for some reason, fuck Italians I guess).
Since every country sees a very similar trend, if there are any bots, they haven't had a very big impact at all.
