Work.
My brother is 16 and said he's considering getting a part-time job, I told him to go for it. Work experience isn't just something you put on a resume, it is a list of roles you've held, challenges you've dealt with, and displays your versatility.
Delivered pizza for domino's? You have experience meeting deadlines, and forward planning.
Worked a register at McDonald's? You have experience dealing with the retarded masses, you've kept an accurate register and aren't a thief.
Stocked shelves at Walmart? You have organizational skills, because no doubt you've had to beautify the shelves and make them look full, put all the relevant items together, etc.
I'm not saying work entry-level jobs for your entire life, but while you're young, and hopefully in college, take these jobs and expand your experiences and skillset. You'll have some walking around money, but you'll also work with different teams, bosses, and companies, and you'll learn what you do/don't like about each one. Leveraging this experience when you look for a career will help you find a perfect fit.
My first job was the Marine Corps. Don't do what I did, because I'm 27 and catching up to everyone else.
