This is the reason why so many people think HDR is just a meme. There's no "decent" HDR monitor that isn't OLED, or MiniLED with > 1000 dimming zones, or dual layer LCD. Any backlit or edgelit LCD that claims to support HDR is fake HDR. Those are SDR LCDs that simply accept an HDR signal and compress it down the SDR, or worse one with not enough dimming zones to cause gross looking blooming. So for a "true" HDR monitor, you're looking at anything in the $750 - $1000 range.
