Disney Star Wars wasn’t a failure, Rise of Skywalker made a billion dollars and all three movies are in the top 40 highest grossing movies of all time, the Force Awakens is the 10th highest grossing movie of all time WITH INFLATION TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT, Rise of Skywalker outgrossef Attack of the Clones and all of the original trilogy except A New Hope WITH INFLATION ACCOUNTED and The Last Jedi outgrossed all the movies except for Force Awakens, A New Hope and the Phantom Menace, again… WITH INFLATION ACCOUNTED. I know manchildrens obsessions with these shitty space wizard movies for children (they all suck except the first two and like some of the video games) is a massive part of the culture war and the narrative is that they’re “a deliberate failure to kill the west” or whatever but they’re not failures. Disney Star Wars was profitable, it’s a success. Maybe start watching good movies instead of children’s movies?
