Anyway, to fall for your b8, yes. Out of 100 women, say there are 30 you'd be interested in. Out of them, maybe 10 are single, maybe 8 single and looking, maybe 2 looking for someone like you. This is why you have to feel for guys who get fixated on their oneitis, going through huge amounts of stress over this one girl that they've got a 2-8% chance with, and then finally after they work up the huge courage to actually approach her (whereupon their clear stress and nervousness instantly creeps her out), the odds play out as described and they get shot down, and it's this soul-crushing pain that lasts for weeks or months
