Kris isn't a good kid, but they're not a full on psychopath. They still care about their friends and don't want to actually hurt them. Just because Kris is drawn to bad stuff doesn't mean they have to enjoy the bad stuff happening to them or their loved ones.
Again, ERAM full on states that it wanted to see Kris' BURNING EYES. It was taunting Kris when it said that Kris enjoyed Weird Route.
I also don't think Kris themself made the Sword Route games what they are. ERAM did. We've seen that the Shadow Crystal stuff can mess with Dark Worlds even pre-history before they're opened (see Jevil being appraoched and made mad "long ago" despite the Roaring Knight only opening the Card Fountain "recently"). Things having fucked with the games isn't that much of a stretch.
