no snapshitters dont care about color/parts separation. it is a god given gift if a kit has great color/parts separation. less time to do masking. why snapshitters would like color/parts separation, it just takes them more time to snap kits. for modelers, parts/color separation is great because it takes less time to mask shit.

the only time that you should really mask is if you scribe and greebled your kit to create forced color separation. or to make camo patterns.

even car and tank model kits are now doing more parts separation. the car body used to be in 1 piece, now theres more parts separation, the bonnet is separate, the doors are now separate
