The prototype Classics are most likely not even Edwin's, as he says he wanted to use Fiona's designs and won't budge. Fiona's designs are the Party-Time forms of Chica (the fat mascot costume) that has springlocks in it. The Classics are the ones Henry sent to Edwin to be made into full animatronics, but it never came to fruition and he ended up making them himself.
