Just apply for another unit ! move before you disgust yourself of the army.
I joined a recce unit 6 years ago and while things aren't always the best but i get some pretty cool stuff. We get issued ops-cores, dbals, gucci optics etc... we can wear whatever we want and even paint our rifles.
