That fucking swirly-ass pattern where the scythes are also rotating meaning what works one time isn't going to work other times, unless it sometimes does.
And since it takes out any party member that's not a modestly-titted lizard girl in two hits, so why not lake it happen six times per cycle? And then add another one later on?
