You screamed for it. You begged for changes. You cried for balance. And what did you get? A lifeless husk of what once was a glorious battlefield. Why? Because you really believed the team under games workshop would actually release a good game! What a puny plan! Look around you. This is the Valley of Slop.

Gone are the wargear options, the tools of a true general. No more terminator or jump pack consuls save for a few. No more esoteric RoWs that let you breathe flavor into your legion. Now you are given a combi-melta for a serpenta.

You traded the artistry of Alan and friends for what? Rules and lists that read like they were written by a servo-skull with a virus. Legion specific RoWs for character specific duel gambits? Obese looking power armour marks? You really call this progress? This isn’t the Age of Darkness. This is the Age of Disappointment. And to those of you who pushed for this, who cheered when the first edition was put to the sword I say this:

Just walk away.

Walk away and GW will spare you from further misery. Just walk away to the Forgeworld BBs. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.
