that concept is super-niche

most people want "EXACTLY as Lego did, must be perfection since they sold it that way, and any alteration is blasphemy!"
or
"I built this amazing unique thing, all my own. different than the thing Lego did!"

I can maybe see modernizing old sets with new pieces, since there's tons of new curves and what-not. but even then, people will scream the old set was "soul" and the new pieces destroy it blah-blah (just expected speculation)
