This series needs more weapon types. It's getting annoying having fifteen martial artists and ten chicks with guns in every game overlapping with each other. Let's brainstorm some new ones.
>Whip
ATK/HIT. 2-3 square range. Weak, but automatically crits when hitting a target at the very end of its range. Extends lift range and has a few skills that can only be done while lifting.
>Greatshield
DEF. Has a chance to parry. Skills automatically put you in block stance after attacking.
>Magic Sword
Literally the same thing as the regular sword, but it's INT-derived. I just think it's high time "red mages" like Mao and the Magic Knight could just work like they're supposed to instead of having weird workarounds or having to go all one way or the other. Magic Knight can still have the elemental skills to themselves.
>HIT Monster Weapon
Just a MW that works on HIT/SPD and boosts attack range, so they can work better as ranged units.
