I'm not a driver and afaik it takes about 5 years in the warehouse to have a chance to be one, unless you're lucky with the job openings. You can also be feeder driver moving the trailers around, which is $100k+ like package delivery. At least it's a path, not sure I'll reach it but it's something.

I'm skinny awkward autist and this is my first job with a boss. When I'm alone in the trailer and the work is light (like pic), I'm fairly comfy. But when it's busy, it's stressful. It's like being drowned in packages. I have to hope the supervisor sees and sends someone to help, because I have a hard time asking. The co-workers are fairly nice to me at least. I'm sure they sense something's off though.
I feel like a fool when I can't lift something and someone has to do it for me. A supervisor saw that the other day and told me to reload the mis-sorts instead; never did it before and I felt more foolish. I pulled the cart instead of pushing. I didn't even return with the cart because I wasn't sure how to make it past the narrow hall with the irreg train going around. Just awkwardly wait a few minutes for it to pass I guess.
I don't know if they're gonna keep me loading. They tend to put all the women in "small sort". I'm not sure if it's easier but at least it's less heavy.
