He also finds abductees have been involved with the occult in some way, or they've had it in their ancestry. Once people become more serious about practicing christianity the abductions and sightings never come back. There are 115 testimonies/case reports in the book pointing out the pattern.
He is not the only researcher to report this phenomenon. But he is the one who explores this aspect it in the most detail. Other cases might report "he started praying and then the things left." but they don't fixate, comment, or explain how this is a repeat phenomenon in the paranormal. There's also pic related. This is more a historic overview of the alien disguise and research on it, starting with Crowley, up to the present day. He mentions a lot of researchers including joseph jordan, and others I thought were obscure, like raymond fowler.
