my general thesis is that the majority of humanity is stupid and is going to fail. failure as a general condition in all aspects of life.. when a time of difficulty arrives. this includes the so called elites who will be most likely to do as they are already observable doing; head up their ass with arrogant ignorance and incompetence while being too wealthy to have to face the reality of this circumstance. they likely will have some small groups with tested systems for at least short term survival but they likely will be fragile and lack adequate redundancy to survive longterm.

does not matter what the cause is.. nature or man made.. judging from their current presence the best case scenario is they will have made some effort at setting up for their own survival and it will malfunction in some manner sooner or later. the idea is that, even with people who are competent to accomplish tasks onboard with them, their bizarre concepts of entitlement to authority will have them walking all over the people who would make the correct decisions.
its an unfortunate reality that high value wealth and elite power status tends to create some extreme malfunctions in human behavior and character

the events that slide the majority of humanity back into the stone age might not happen for a few centuries but this is the most likely outcome of our current condition. basically my vision for a primary course of action is to pursue a wide variety of business ownership for the participant members in the short term and in the long term to pursue development of technology sufficient to sustain a colony in an off world location but to do the development right here on the surface of earth where there is easy access to all manner of resources for the purpose.

its not a short term plan. design is to serve its function long beyond the span of a single life. a lot of thought has gone towards what must be managed for this to be successful. hard part is getting everyone on same page
