I've noticed this with Elon Musk too. Both him and Peter Thiel are put on pedestals as geniuses, as the brightest minds of our time, and yet they seem like the perfect representations of the Dunning Kruger effect. It appears that they read one book above the intellectual level of the slop of NY Time's best sellers and made it their entire world view. Their tunnel vision and hyper fixation on one idea (transhumanism / going to Mars) leaves them unable to articulate a coherent solution to any other problem, and they are on track to ushering in the Antichrist.

It sucks that our period has the gayest, most retarded, and most out of touch ruling class in history. We could've had a ruling class like the founding fathers, the Catholic Church, the national socialists, or even feudal kings. At least those people were all genuinely well-read and knew their constituency. At least it was funny seeing Thiel get directly called out for bringing the Antichrist and watching him struggle to respond.
