Why does any of this matter when people are gonna buy it anyways? People bought a Switch 2 with one game, they're gonna buy a PS6 with no games. It doesn't matter, the market's too large at this point and people will buy it anyways because it's the new thing. The people on /v/ and Twitter aren't any notable majority at all.

We can sit here and say it's nonsense and that it's weird to even think of a PS6 when the PS5 doesn't have that many games in the first place (and like two true exclusives in the form of DeS and Astro Bot), but the company wouldn't be thinking of it if they didn't expect it to work. They don't even have to have games, they can just release a new console, get the usual people to buy FIFA, Call of Duty, and Fortnite, and then subsist entirely off of subscriptions. People bought that shit up when the PS5 had nothing and they're gonna do the exact same when the PS6 comes out.
