I've been playing JP Fates with an English patch and I gotta say, this game is not much better in Japanese than it was in English. I've seen people claim for years that it was Treehouse fucking up the story and characters (partially true, more like they exacerbate the original problems by creating a few new ones), but this game's writing sucks no matter what version I play.
