Has anyone noticed that almost everything has become a bland, boring soup of monotony?
Almost every movie, video game, song and book that's come out in the past... I don't know, eleven years now- they're all boring and predictable? It's like they're copy-pasted from some repository somewhere, painted a different color and shipped out to the masses who gobble it up and shit it out.
Even a lot of people- especially Gen Z just seem... I don't know, off? I went to a burger joint in the next town over from mine and some dude with a pedo stache, a mullet and a hooters shirt walked in right after me. I've seen this look a lot of places online but FUCK seeing it in person made me want to eat a 12 gauge. Like, holy shit- this isn't even a bad area. If you walked around like that here fifteen years ago everybody'd give you a dirty look and not want to associate with you- and now it's almost mainstream.
Even when you DO want to go out and socialize, it's like there's nowhere to fucking go. Sure, yeah, there's diners and hiking spots but most people who go there are going with family to just eat and go. They've got no reason to stick around besides the immediate objective.
I know I'm probably not doing the best job of articulating this- but it just feels like our whole society is slowly killing itself via inertia. Everything is just so fake and gross- how the fuck are the rest of you surviving out there?
