I think it does, because it had so much potential but missed the mark on everything except the big spectacle fights and some moments in the story.
I really wish certain characters didn't die so soon, that they were more a part of the story, that there were more elements in the game that made it an actual FF game instead of a pure action game like elemantal weaknesses, extensive gearing and loot options, more outfits, inn's, a world map, an airship hell even being able to control in some aspect Mid's ship the Enterprise instead of it being a pure cutscene.
It's too much of a movie in some places and too much of an mmo in other parts.
