I bet you can guess my move themes. One of my favorites is [Impact], a shot that creates a contained zone of sonic energy. Within a limited area around the center of impact, is a shockwave strong enough to liquefy steel. Outside of that small radius, you hear nothing more than a very loud "pop".

Well it's a magic gun, so I'm skeptical. How are the acoustics of a plasma cannon? How sturdy is a railgun? Do either of them fit a bayonet? It's a downgrade if I'm going to smack someone around with the weight of a gun that's made with plastic and electronics. Hard to beat rugged simplicity.
