Some perspective:

I've killed about 2000 flies in the last 2 days.
So this must be the darkest time in their existence right?
Wrong. This is their golden age. The only reason I've had so many to kill is because they're doing so well.

You are a human being in a (presumably) free country. Go out there and do whatever the fuck you like. Have sex with beautiful women, eat delicious food, befriend dogs, look at the stars, roll around in the mud, hug a tree, jump in some cold water, climb a mountain, smell some flowers, watch the bees and butterflies, smell the fresh air.

Is anyone gonna stop you? Is anyone gonna squish you to death? Are you in an actual war right now?

You have more freedom than most people in all of human history had, and you do nothing with it, because you are demoralised by the 24 hour news cycle. You sit inside and seethe.
