They have a thematic or symbolic connection and Takeuchi/Nasu probably had that in mind when designing Galahad, but nothing that would translate into a concrete connection such as "they're related somehow".
Incidentally, because of that, Master Guda and Servant Galahad is probably one of, if not THE, strongest pairing there is.
