Draft the heaviest dude ever. Refuse to put him on the practice field because he's too heavy. What's their problem?
>The Buccaneers won't allow rookie DT Desmond Watson to practice until he gets in better shape and reaches an undisclosed weight goal.
>Watson, who weighed 464 pounds at his pro day earlier this offseason, has lost nearly 30 pounds since joining the team, but has to lose more.
>"I'm pleased. It's just about trying to get him better, to be a healthier player on the field. That's kind of where I'm at right now. He's working at it and we're working with him and that's all you can ask of him for right now," Todd Bowles said.
>"We have some things we have in mind with him, where we want to see him at," Bowles added. "We need to monitor that and get him where we think he needs to be and go from there."
