in times where i drank heavily it was because i simply wanted to be drunk all the time. nobody would have been able to help me change course. then at some point i would decide it wasn't fun anymore or wasn't worth it for one reason or another and i would stop. i don't buy into the melodrama people make of it and the act itself was always easy, it just required actually changing my mind. maybe that's just me, i don't know, but i guess my advice is to examine your motivations, be honest with yourself, and follow your heart.

I could really go for a warm and gooey chocolate chip cookie right about now.
