There is nothing, NOTHING in Embiid's playoff history to suggest he was ever going to break through and become consistent enough to win anything. He played worse in the playoffs and that's not my opinion, it's a quantifiable fact. If a guy's start drop off by like 15-20% across the board every year that's not bad luck or a bad matchup, it' just means he statpads during the regular season and can't sustain it against good competition. Embiid was a still a fraud even when he was healthy, that's why his few healthy seasons still ended in the first or second round.
