The only thing that matters is if team mates love their QB and that's true for both the Bills and Ravens. Bad leadership can only be measured when a team quits on a QB like the Jets did on Rodgers or the Browns did on Watson.

His regular season record against the NFC is 25-5.
He rarely loses in the first couple of weeks.
He will have a left tackle and all his weapons unlike the super bowl.
All data and statistics points to him dominating the Eagles in the rematch.

They were a super team in the sense that they were only a few pieces away. A modern example of this would be if you air dropped Mahomes onto the Vikings or Lions and then used all of your draft capital to add more pieces and you bribed players with contracts that would make you win now but would fuck you over long term. We saw this with Matthew Stafford.

Had he retired like a normal person Mahomes would likely have 2 more rings. Mahomes would have 5 rings and Brady would only have 6.

Brady took out his midlife crisis on the entire league. We'd all be talking about Mahomes as the new GOAT right now, but Brady stole valor from him. The NFL ratings would be insane too since everyone would be tuning in to see the new GOAT who won 5 rings in his 20s.

>20 passing first downs to 11 for the Chiefs

>14 more completions, 94 more plays run and 234 more yards of total offense
The Chiefs defenders were making mental mistakes at the end and couldn't make a stand in OT because Brady methodically wore them down until they were ready to just roll over. Double the time of possession is insane. Patriots honestly should have won by 20

Chiefs were a coin flip away from starting in 6 of the last 7 superbowls. Brady and Mahomes are the only QBs in the last 3 decades who managed to consistently make it back to Superbowls. Jalen Hurts ain't about that life. Chiefs have a better chance of making it back than them.

2020 and 2021 Bucs were both 3rd best offenses by points.
2020 Bucs were the 29th best defense. 2021 Bucs were 8th.
Brady didn't change their offense. He merely needed to throw half as many interceptions than Winston so their defense got to rest.

>they put their defense in less bad situations
That's literally the point I'm making. The offense wasn't significantly better at being offensive, but the reduction in turnovers helped the defense play to their potential. Tom Brady didn't make their offense pop off, he just allowed the team to function as it was supposed to by not throwing 30 interceptions.
The Bucs were a stacked team when Brady arrived. They were just losing because they didn't have a QB that could tell jerseys apart. Brady didn't make Mike Evans and Chris Godwin better. Shaquil Barrett had 20 sacks the year before Brady showed up. The roster was already good

I am downplaying it in the sense that it wasn't a significant change to the offense specifically. The offense was good before he got there. The roster was good before he got there. There's a dozen QBs you could slot into that team and would've had a great chance to win a SB.
His presence improved the offense, but he wasn't doing anything unique to make it better. The main difference between the 2019 Bucs and 2020 Bucs wassn't Tom Bradyβit was the defense. Tom Brady played into that by not throwing a billion interceptions, but many QBs could've done that.
I'm mainly just making the point that the team was stacked. People overstate what role Brady played into that team's success. He was certainly important, but it's not like he turned hay into gold.

>Remember when Lamar got MVP over Purdy despite being significantly worse because he supposedly had less help?
Lamar carried his team to the 1 seed that season unlike Allen who failed to do so in this season.
The MVP race was close between Purdy, CMC, and Lamar and everyone agreed whoever won the head to head game would win MVP. Purdy had a 4 interception meltdown and the 49ers ended up benching him and his backup QB outperformed him. So a team with two MVP candidates got their shit pushed in by Lamar. It would be criminal to award Purdy with an MVP after that.
But going back to Allen, he had a chance to beat Lamar in the head to head, but he got blown out 35 to 10. Allen had one of the worst performances in NFL history. I think he broke a record for least completions for x amount of attempts or something.
Meanwhile Lamar passed Michael Vick's record for most rush yards of all time and could have potentially broken Rodgers record for a single season with the highest passer rating but he ended up sitting out the later half of a game. And I think it goes without saying that a 41 TD and 4 INT season is historic. Most of those INTs were from his receivers fucking up perfect throws.

>Derek Carr Memorial Fact of the Day
There are many words that can be used to describe Derek Carr: passionate, rocket-armed, athletic (he ran a 4.69 40-yard dash at the combine, and had a 34.5-inch vertical jump)...but perhaps most of all, tough.
According to DraftShark's injury tracker, the gutsy QB suffered 16 injuries during his career, including seven during his two seasons with the Saints. Despite this, Carr played in 169 out of a possible 180 games in his career, good for a 93.9% availability rate.
In 2023, he suffered two concussions and three injuries/re-injuries to his throwing shoulder, and yet didn't miss a single start.
The 2025 Saints will be banking on 1st round pick Kelvin Banks Jr. setting their offensive line straight, otherwise they'll be in a world of pain with the less gutsy and much more injury-prone rookie Tyler Shough at quarterback moving forward.

Way to completely change the scenarios so you donβt seem as fucking stupid.
> Are the packers better, worse, or equal to the bucs and vikings who also lost in the wildcard?
Roughly equal to the Bucs because they had a 1 game difference in record and lost in the same round of the playoffs. Worse than the Vikings because the Vikings won both head to head games.
>If the packers made it to the divisional round because they played against the easy vikings is that a better result?
Yes, of course winning more games is better. What kind of question is that?
>were the commanders better than the rams because they made it further, or are the rams better because they actually had a competitive game against the eagles?
Yes they are better because they won more games in the regular season with a harder schedule and made it further in the playoffs. Youβre also completely shifting your tone from βonly a SB mattersβ to βwell maybe a team that finished 4th is nearly as good as a team than finished 2nd in their conferenceβ
>or does none of that actually matter because none of them won anything?
It matters and itβs clear you never played sports in your life. Ignoring that from a practical standpoint itβs way easier to go from a divisional or conference championship loss to a win than going from not making the playoffs, tanking and then getting to a Super Bowl.

Joe Burrow is the only QB who has a clean win over Mahomes in the playoffs. Let's look at Mahomes 4 playoff losses
>Chiefs vs Patriots AFCCG
Brady won a coinflip in overtime, Mahomes never touched the ball. Fluke loss.
>Chiefs vs Buccaneers Superbowl
4 starters on the OL were out due to injury, we saw how much losing even 1 starter on the OL matters in the last owl. Fluke loss.
>Chiefs vs Bengals AFCCG
A rare moment when Mahomes choked in the playoffs. There are no excuses here. Bengals won.
>Chiefs vs Eagles Superbowl
They started a guard at the left tackle position. Chiefs offense never built chemistry since the WR1, WR2, WR3, RB1, RB2, TE3-4 were all injured for most of the regular season. By the time some of these players returned for the owl they were held up by duck tape and metal rods in their bones. Chiefs had no business playing in that owl. Fluke loss.

Chiefs went through a total of 4 different starters at left tackle position. Thuney is a guard yet was moved to left tackle position. This had a side effect of destroying their run game. Thuney was an all pro at guard, but was below average as a left tackle.
I was saying the left tackle situation would cost them the superbowl long before it happened. The real ball knowers know left tackle is the 2nd most important position in football since they keep the QB upright and healthy.

I'm not as down on the Dolphins as a lot of people I think they've had two good draft classes back to back. Their front 7 on defence has some legit juice even if their secondary is makeshift. Name another QB who got the 1 seed and carried his team to the Super Bowl without his starting WR1, WR2, WR3, RB1, RB2, etc.....

Mahomes is the only QB in NFL history who could do this. We saw in 2022 what happens in the Super Bowl when both teams had a healthy roster. Come apologize to me when my Chiefs blow them out in week 2.

Mahomes is the most clutch player in NFL history and it's not particularly close. He has a win rate when trailing by 7 in playoffs. By the start of last season his win rate when trailing by 10 points was higher than Goff and Burrow's career win rate. Probabaly is no longer the case after that blowout though.

Idk he's got a good arm i'd say he'd probably be a bit above average if he wasn't running all the damn time. like we could look at his numbers and just subtract ALL his rushes and TDs from that but that doesn't really tell the whole story because it isn't his entire game.

We just saw this matchup in 2022 when the Chiefs dominated the Eagles. I was at a Chiefs watch party. Even when they were down by 17 points not a single Chiefs fan cared since we're so used to all the comeback wins.
If the situation was in reverse and the Eagles had all those injuries they wouldn't have made it to the owl. Injuries matter when it's that much concentrated on offense.

I'm not talking about Brady or Allen nor do I care about those two. Andy Reid looks terrible in every Eagles matchup in recent memory and Hurts has frankly overperformed against coaches like Daboll who doubted him. Hurts is a fucking retard as a front runner and a complete God as an underdog. At worst, Hurts is a nice random dice roll and at best Mahomes is expected to underperform in the super bowl. If you genuinely were a mahomesfag you'd be pressing the Kansas City management to get the fuck off Taylor Swift's boyfriend and put some actual talent around a HOF QB in his prime while he's still in his prime.

I think Kelce let the Taylor distraction get to him. We'll see if he still has it in him this season. From what I've heard he doesn't appear to want to retire, but since he only has 1 year left on his contract he's trying to avoid a situation where he says he wants to play longer and the team tells him they don't want him.

It's easy to overperform when you have a roster stacked to the tits. Chiefs starters would struggle to make the backup squad on the eagles.
>and put some actual talent around a HOF QB in his prime while he's still in his prime.
We saw in 2022 and 2023 he can win with JAGs (just a guy) so I don't blame the GM for not giving him help. Nobody excepted that much injuries in 2024.
He also needs at least one elite receiver and Kelce looked old in 2024.

Brady got prime Randy Moss. The same Moss who made a black backup QB lead the entire league in TDs (39), before he teamed up with Brady. Yet Brady and Mahomes both ended up losing the Superbowl.
