I want to 3D print small elements for my diorama, like window frames, vases, furniture, signs, etc. I'm also thinking about replacing current doors with openable 3D printed ones. But main body of those buildings will be build with carved styrophoam.
You can try building one yourself, it's not that hard really and gives a lot of satisfaction.
