Anon, its literally a flashback showing blank flank AJ with Pear alive and baby AB. It is clear proof that AB was alive before Spike. What episode are you taking about that possibly contradicted this?

Also, why didn't AJ's parents see their daughter off? They were probably dead by then, meaning AB was in the house. Also note that the flashback I showed had Big Mac visibly smaller then in this s2 one. The timeline matches up.
