And I was never referring to the historical context of Necromancy according to DnD. All clerics, for instance, have access to the same powers, insinuating that all gods are of an equal relevance. Christianity is exclusive in its claim that nobody knows God except through His son, Jesus Christ
Which is also why raising the dead and healing is not Necromancy when done through the power of God, according to historical traditions. In that case its a miracle, only achievable through faith in the power of said one true God.
Necromancy is evil because its using the power of demons, and is a perversion and counterfeit of the true power of God. Its kinda like Wishmaster--or the stories of jinn--where they can perform 'wishes' but they always have some perversion to what was intended. And even in the best case, your soul belong to the jinn upon death or some other criteria.
Miracles =/= Necromancy. (unless you're talking about D&D's portrayal of it... but even then its colored by the real world traditions of what necromancy even is.)
