this isn't true, pretty much everyone at 800 and above has a perfect dark age, some sperg posted the data like a year ago (pic related)
the difference in time mostly has to do with the fact that high elo and elite players usually click up with very few villagers to get quick raids, while low/mid elo players usually go for 21pop+loom build orders (if you search on google "scout/MAA/archer rush" the first results show BOs that won't have you click feudal with less than 20 pop or without loom)
if someone is 800 elo i can guarantee you it's not because of their dark age, it always has to do with shit that happens in mid feudal and onwards
also people on the 600-800 elo range probavbly use BOs too but poorly
