What /isn't/ okay, is going on a multi-day tirade about how upset the mere presence of a race in an MMO makes you feel, as if everyone else should be equally as offended. Not saying you're necessarily the guy who's doing it, just speaking in general.
There's this weird hang-up assumption I've noticed with a some Anon in other threads (particularly the autistic ones), wherein if [x subject] exists, [y discussion] is seemingly impossible, despite both stemming from the same source.
Anyone can talk about game mechanics here while also posting their characters. That's how MMO threads work (or at least, that's how they used to work in the 2010s). You don't have to be some slobbering lolicon to play an Elin, just as much as someone wouldn't need to be a dyed-in-the-face bara fanatic to play male Amani, or a femboy enthusiast to play male High Elf, etc.
