In case the anon whose question about bringing this old girl on my coast-to-coast trip I forgot to answer in the last handgun thread is here: I only brought two magazines with me. One in the gun and one in my pocket. When you carry a gun that only has 8+1, you kinda just accept that sacrifice. Wouldn't change anything about it.
